Tuition in the biological sciences, for relating to the mystical

Biology for the Otherworlds are courses about biology, and therefore, life. We’re going to cover fundamental concepts about the chemistry and biology of cellular and acellular life, and we’re going to explore how we can apply that understanding to mystical practices. I’ve designed it to be accessible to everyone, it’s going to be challenging and rewarding and illuminating. And, because I am me and because this is Microanimism, it all leads into further exploration of the microbial world: the biological subdiscipline of microbe-biology and the specialties of bacteriology, microbial ecology, virology, and systems.

For this first run, we’ll sit together for five lessons, once a week, 90 minutes at a time. The lesson will include a lecture on the scientific topic at hand, with ample time for guided drop-in and questions. The community Discord will be a place that we can all chat in between lessons. Each class will be recorded and made accessible to students, as well as compiled additional resources.

This is the first class in what will ultimately become a series, and I’m pitching it at the same introductory level I would for students who have high school chemistry and biology. So, it’s designed to be accessible for pretty much everyone.
